Oh Deer, Oh Deer, Oh Deer

We were going agate picking and fishing at the Gratiot River. We make a sharp right turn on Cedar Hill Road only to have a doe and her fawn in the middle of the road in front of our car. The doe went to the edge of the woods on one side of the road and the fawn jumped to the opposite side of the road.

We waited for a minute and the fawn cautiously came out of the woods and crossed the road in front of us to rejoin it's mother.

I expected to log on and see "Birthday Bash" pictures all over the blog...guess you are too busy celebrating, and/or you are picking berries!Anyway, hope our card arrived in one piece...and we hope Karl has the best birthday ever! Miss you very much! Susie and Gene
