Dining in Tapiola

Apple Blossoms in Tapiola
Fish Soup

Lake Trout Dinner

Once a month we "escape" from our "urban environment" and go to the Friday night fish fry at the Feed Mill, a restaurant that used to be a store for agricultural seeds, fertilizer, and animal feed. The area was settled by mostly Finnish immigrants who chopped down the forest to create dairy farms. Today, most of the homesteads have been abandoned, but the apple orchards still remain and this week the apple blossoms were at their peak.
