Beautiful Day

We worked on projects during the morning hours, at noon we took a leisurely sauna. We went to Calumet to pick up a few items. We had company this evening so we made a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great dinner and conversation with a gorgeous 3 hour sunset. The entire sky was various shades of reds, pinks, and blues. It was a great day at Cedar Bay. Temperatures ranged from 39 degrees in the AM to 60 degrees in the late afternoon.

  1. Wow! I opened this to look at this morning, and read the blog, but saw no pictures. I left the computer on to go get a blood test, and have lunch with a friend. I came back to all these beautiful scenes of "home," and you swept my heart away! You have really worked hard on the walkway leading to the sauna since I was there last year. It looks fantastic! And the flowers are to die for! I cannot believe that those are all trilliums! I have never seen such a profusion in one place before! Totally amazing! You must really start painting them, Candy! I am sure you can do it without batting an eye! Think of all the media at your disposal---driftwood, birch, rocks, fungi---I am so very envious! I have to dig around looking for scrap lumber, and you have it all at your fingertips! Keep it up! Itis a joy to read and re-read!
    Love, Susie
