We hiked the Black Creek for 5 hours - 4 miles of hiking and much agate picking.

Big Fish Day

We started our day enjoying the colors of the sky and Lake Superior. The blue sky was reflected in the blue of the water of the Great Lake. "C" worked on cutting the grass around the cabin and reestablishing the trails through our woods. "K" worked on the woodshed behind the sauna. After a visit and lunch with "D", we went to the Mouth of the Gratiot for a little R & R. "K" caught a 22" and a 26" steel head trout - approximately a five pounds and an eight pounds a piece. We returned to the cabin to clean and pack of fish for the freezer.

Sunset tonight was brief but beautiful.
